If your face is glum, or if your voice is glum, you might seem sad, bored, or just worried. If you're feeling glum, you're in a glum mood: you might sigh glumly ("hhhh"), or slouch over, or put your head down.

Idea 1: "My face turned glum as I remembered (something sad)."

Idea 2: "When (someone) seemed glum, I suggested, 'Let's (do some specific fun or exciting activity)!'"
